I started out making a purple one - purple to match my Sony Vaio, and a
geometric pattern to look techy (it was leftover from Scott's Quilt - the cow background).
Unfortunately it ended
up being messy and too narrow. Maybe I'll use it to store the
cables. Also unfortunately that was the last of that purple
fabric.
Then I made a green one that came out just right. Yay!
The fabric is leftover from a quilt I'm making for our couch.
It's got a velcro closure, and two pieces of cardboard in the front to
protect the screen. When it's closed the Clié fits all the way in
- I just pulled it out for the photo.
I like it better than a leather one because it's really
small and light - I've got enough weight in my backpack as it is. Well,
and I just couldn't bring myself to pay $15-$45 for a case that I could
make myself in under 2 hours.
