CowParade

The CowParade is a traveling art show that places cows that have been decorated by famous painters in cities around the world. One of the cows, Dancing Diva, has also been referred to as Carmen Mooranda. The cow wears a straw hat, long white gloves, and fishnet stockings. Here's another picture where you can see that the fishnet stockings actually cover the cow's udder.

State Fair of Virginia

In 1999 the State Fair of Virginia wanted to better represent the cultural diversity in Virginia. And so they designed a new logo for the fair that included a cow dressed up like Carmen Miranda (Carmen Mooranda) playing maracas, and a donkey sidekick playing a guitar. The logo was used for the 1999 and 2000 fairs, but then they switched to a new logo after complaints of cultural insensitivity.
